  • Direct Care Counselors
    Direct Care Counselors provides classroom instruction for The Smart Place participants with severe emotional and behavioral disorders as well as physically challenged in a supportive academic environment. The position includes excellent training and supervision, allows for involvement in a multi-disciplinary team of treatment professionals, and affords an outstanding opportunity for professional development and growth.

    Must possess excellent classroom management skills when working participants.
    Will be part of a collaborative, motivated team of agency social workers.
    Will provide classroom instruction based on the participants individual goals and abilities.
    Certified Nursing assistance experience a plus…
    Must be strongly committed to the welfare of people affected by a range of severe emotional/behavioral disorders as well as physical challenges.
    Must be motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of at-risk participants
    Must have a great sense of humor

  • Administrative Positions
    Must have a minimum of 2 years in our field or a related industry.
  • Transportation Drivers
    The Smart Place Bus Driver’s responsibility is to safely and timely perform picks up and drops off participants, maintains mileage/vehicle check log, notifies transportation director of routine vehicle maintenance, maintains/cleans interior of vehicle and wheelchair safety straps, maintain/cleans exterior of vehicle, keeps vehicle fueled and operational on a daily basis, assist staff in loading and unloading of children and equipment, follows safety procedures at all times, maintains regular attendance and participates in extra daily trips as needed.

    Experienced in transporting special needs people
    Driving large paratransit vans and buses
    Knowledge of the Atlanta metro area
    Knowledge of Handicap lift operation
    Knowledge of basic automotive mechanics
    CDL's Welcomed

  • Transportation Assistant Drivers
    Must have a minimum of 1 year in our field or a related industry.
