Direct Care Counselors
Direct Care Counselors provides classroom instruction
for The Smart Place participants with severe emotional
and behavioral disorders as well as physically challenged
in a supportive academic environment. The position
includes excellent training and supervision, allows
for involvement in a multi-disciplinary team of
treatment professionals, and affords an outstanding
opportunity for professional development and growth.
Must possess excellent classroom management skills
when working participants.
Will be part of a collaborative, motivated team
of agency social workers.
Will provide classroom instruction based on the
participants individual goals and abilities.
Certified Nursing assistance experience a plus…
Must be strongly committed to the welfare of people
affected by a range of severe emotional/behavioral
disorders as well as physical challenges.
Must be motivated by the opportunity to make a difference
in the lives of at-risk participants
Must have a great sense of humor
- Administrative Positions
Must have a minimum of 2 years in our field or a related
industry.
